Great opportunity to purchase a windup mechanical ships or deck chronometer. Fully serviced and restored condition. American manufactured Hamilton watch company. C. 1941. Early style of chronometer which is gimbled and lockable. Winding up duration approx. 36 to 48 hours. Key locking with opening hinged lid area to view. All original with minor scuffs and marks from general use. Ideal investment as these now are becoming quite collectable.
